  • Hi

I know it has taken me a long time to post about this. My camera is difficult to download so it took me a while to get pictures of my paintings.

I enjoyed the paintout. My favorite of the other artists painting was the lovely watercolor by Doug Mays and I enjoyed Helen's work as well.

Lots of different styles. A couple of things I will do differently next time. Bring my camera so I don't have to borrow Ted's!

Also next time I will paint on a larger canvas. I was advised to use a smaller canvas than usual but it didnt work well for me and I ended up doing two small pieces. Next time, I will focus on one larger piece.

I met someone from my day job who lives around there and that was interesting.

Hope to  do another one of these soon! The two pictures are called "Steeple" and "Front Porch.""

Keith Thirgood "Go small" is good advice when it's windy, or when you have to hike a long distance. However, if you're painting acrylic, go as big as you're comfortable painting.
